Bobby Balachandran is the founder, president, and CEO of Exterro, Inc. After an extensive career building mission-critical applications in the financial services, healthcare and telecommunications sectors, Bobby founded Exterro on the belief that a holistic technology platform could help legal teams increase the value they derived from data while mitigating the risks posed by data using workflow management, process optimization, and artificial intelligence.
By placing an emphasis on entrepreneurship, accountability, and providing a platform for team member growth, Bobby has guided Exterro from a four-person start-up to an almost 750-person, worldwide legal technology industry leader, a nine-figure capital investment, and major technology acquisitions to build the only comprehensive Legal Governance, Risk, and Compliance software solution available today.
Through Exterro Gives Back, Exterro’s program of charitable giving, foundation partnership, and volunteering, Bobby hopes to give others access to the opportunities he enjoyed. Exterro Gives Back makes partners with organizations like India Partners and the LifeRay Foundation to make an impact in India, as well as with other local charities in the communities where Exterro operates.
Bobby holds a BE in computer science from the Government College of Technology in Coimbatore, India, and an MS in computer science from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon.
